87 homes were sold in Florham Park, NJ in 2007…up 5% over 2006. Days on Market (DOM) were up a bit as well, but the average price of homes sold was down 10% from the previous year.
Florham Park town is experiencing a slight downward trend in home prices similar to the rest of the country; however, with the arrival of the New York Jets new training camp, anticipation is high for an increase in home values.
There has been a boom in new construction in town…time will tell if they can continue to warrant the higher prices generated in neighboring communities.
There are still deals to be found in Florham Park with a wide selection of housing opportunities. Florham Park is known for its spacious homes and generous sized properties. Indoor and outdoor space is at a premium in the area but Florham Park offers boasts a golf course at Brooklake Country Club, town parks with playing fields and playgrounds.
