It’s still nice and warm here, so downtown farmers markets bring out the baby strollers and runners galore. Tables are still set up outside for fresh air dining. The leaves are changing and its 80F. Go figure!

i was there a few weeks ago and bought a bottle of orange and cranberry marmalade. i went back today looking for it and the old Mr. Vacchiano from the vacchiano farms gave me the most rude and cheeky answer, “this is a farmers market not a ….”. i suppose i am not white and did not look loaded with money.

What a shame, I went to the Millburn Farmers Market today and bought sugar plums, peaches, bluberries and delicious crab cakes…all of the vendors were terrific.
